Orthros No Inu: Bila manusia berkuasa Tuhan…

Thesis:

Orthros no Inu atau Anjing Orthrus, mengikut lagenda Greek merupakan dewa anjing berkepala dua. Sering menjadi simbol kuasa yang bertentangan, digeruni dan akhirnya dibunuh oleh Heracles. Drama Orthros No Inu berkisar kepada konsep lagenda Greek ini. Drama ini mengisahkan dua lelaki yang mempunyai kuasa luar biasa iaitu seorang mampu mengubati apa-apa jenis penyakit hanya dengan sentuhan tangan, manakala seorang lagi berkuasa membunuh.

Ryuzaki Shinji (Takizawa Hideaki), yang menguasai kuasa mengubati merupakan banduan yang bakal menerima hukuman mati atas kesalahan membunuh. Aoi Ryusuke (Nishikido Ryo) pula seorang guru yang baik hati, tetapi mempunyai kuasa membunuh hanya dengan sentuhan tangan.

SOTUS, SOTUS S, OUR SKYY & NOVEL

It’s all started with SOTUS. . .

Help me, it’s been a week and I keep on repeating the series and digging their fan meeting videos…hahaha. For the first time in my life, I repeating an entire series right after finishing it. And I’ve been digging the English Translation of the original novel as I don’t want to miss out whatever detail that was not included in series. And now again, I realize the different between of becoming a fan and just enjoying the series.

Disclaimer: This is BL (Boys Love) drama, which mean the main couple is gay couple. Although this drama has very minimum skinship, Parental Advisory required.

SOTUS The Series (15 episodes + 1 special)

As a person studying engineering, albeit not the IT, AI nor robotic technology, it is still difficult for me to accept this robot story..haha. I accept the fact that the robot can exist, but not as human as in NamSin3.

Crazy Rich Asian: the books and the movie review

The first book: Crazy Rich Asian (CRA)

The first book is more like an introduction to the CRA universe, the people, their lifestyle and their attitude. You get to know the haute couture, haute jewellery, the vintage and all sort of different high end brand more exclusive than just Hermes and Prada (BIJAN was not mention within the 3 books anyway).

It’s the cliche plot: you have lead hero that crazy rich yet don’t care about money at all, dating a girl whom didn’t know his background at all, classy and not a gold-digger as accused. Having super rich best friend and cousins that didn’t care about money, low profile and prefer finding solace in solitude rather than partying. Yet all other people are so damn materialistic, judgemental, so kepoh* and looking down on others.

Well, where should I start?

Drama ini mendapat review yang baik dari penonton, banyak di-review oleh rakan-rakan alam maya, selain rating purata melebihi 25%. Ia juga diangkat menjadi Drama of The Year bagi SBS Drama Award 2017. Ji Sung, pendukung watak utama turut memenangi Grand Prize (Deasang), iaitu anugerah tertinggi bagi SBS Drama Award. Um Ki Joon yang sangat berjaya membawa watak antagonis menang anugerah “Character of the Year”. Selain itu, Jisung dan Kim Min Seok masing-masing meraih anugerah Best Actor dan Best New Actor dari The Seoul Award 2017.

Tak pernah saya tonton drama yang punya plot yang sangat gila sebegini. Ini bukan drama cinta, malah lansung tiada plot percintaan. Ia genre legal drama dan thriller.

Train Man

I watch the j-dorama: Densho Otoku, long ago. I can’t really remember the details except for the main plot and one of the geek is played by Shin Oguri (hahaha, bias sangat).

This story revolve around an anonymous chatting thread on 2-channel that was very popular in Japan. People can share everything there. I suppose it is like the forum board website, where a lot of different chatting board for different topic. There is thread for people in relationship, and there’s a thread for single people to share their daily mundane life. And most of the single people are introvert otoku whom don’t have experience in relationship.

Basic Plot

Itazura Na Kiss is about Kotoko Aihara whom fall in love with the best student in her school, Naoki Irie since the first day of high school. She only watching him from a far, but decided to confess to Naoki in her third year. Obviously the cool Naoki that never interested in girl, reject her immediately. In the twist turn of fate, Kotoko house was destroyed in disaster (fire, earthquake, meteorite in different version), thus forcing Kotoko and her father to accept invitation to stay at her father’s best friend house. . . and that is also happen to be Naoki house. As time pass, the two spend a lot of time together and Naoki unconsciously start to care for Kotoko.

I almost forgot that the previous Death Note is just 2 movies series with one spin-off film. This is drama live action remake, 11 episode means it just slightly longer than previous movie live action. Still using same background and character, the drama revolve around Yagami Light using Death Note to punish criminal but too bad there’s genius detective L that hunting him.
